Once you're 15 1/2 or older, it's time to purchase your Nevada drivers education course through Aceable. Our course is fully licensed by the Nevada DMV and full of engaging content. Head to the DMV and take the 50 question multiple-choice knowledge exam. All of these questions are based on the Nevada DMV driver's handbook, so you'll want to be sure to pick one up to study. Once you pass the exam and fill out some forms with your parents, you'll be granted your instruction permit. Score!
Practice makes perfect! The state of Nevada requires you to hold your instruction permit for at least 6 months and have 50 hours of behind-the-wheel practice (10 of those hours need to be at night). You can practice with any licensed driver 21 years or older, who has held a license for at least a year. You've got this!
Now that you've completed your Aceable driving course, held your permit for 6 months and completed your 50 hours of behind-the-wheel practice, it's time to Ace your driving test! Don't forget to bring the certificate of completion we send you upon course completion, your driving record and your instruction permit to the DMV at the time of your test. You're now a licensed Nevada driver- good work!

You'll need to pass the written test with at least 80% and the vision test though. You'll need to bring these items to the DMV to get your permit:
The state of Nevada requires you to take a 30-hour drivers ed course if you are under 18 years old and have never held a driver license. You can access your course from your desktop, laptop, phone, and tablet, and you can log on and off whenever you want. While there are timers in the course, they're set at a pace much faster than the speed that most people read. You won't even notice them! The course also never expires, so you don't have to worry about any deadlines – Aceable works around your schedule. Throughout the course, there are 17 level assessments that are 10 questions each. You just need to score at least 70% to pass! You can retake them over and over again until you pass. At the very end of the course, you will take the final exam which you need to pass with at least 70%. After passing, we will email you your Certificate of Completion within 1-3 business days.
You'll need to complete 50 hours of behind-the-wheel practice with a licensed driver who is 21 or older and has been licensed for at least one year. You can also meet this requirement by doing your 50 hours at a driving school too! 10 of your hours must be done at night - this includes any time after sunset and before sunrise.The Nevada DMV has an awesome Parents Supervised Driving Guide that will guide you through what you need to learn in the car.You'll need to keep a written log of the dates and times that you drive and submit it to the DMV when you're going in for your driving test. If you like to keep things electronic, the Nevada DMV also recommends using the RoadReady app for iOS to log your driving hours. Once you've reached your 50 hours, print out your log from the app! Unfortunately, they do not have an Android app.

There are 17 level assessments. You'll get to your first one in Level 2. Each level assessment is 10 questions long. You just need to score at least 70% in order to pass.If you fail, you can retake the level assessment over and over again until you pass. You can retake the level assessment immediately.
If you are locked out due to failing 3 security questions, just contact Aceable and we'll get you unlocked after some additional verification. We'll work with you to make sure you can continue your course ASAP.The state of Nevada requires that Aceable verify the identity of students taking the course. We do this by asking you a series of identity security questions based on information in your Aceable Student Profile. This system is made to ensure that the person who signed up for the course is actually the one taking it.You'll be asked these identity security questions at various points throughout the course. If you miss a question (which we doubt you will, since these questions are all about you!), no worries. You have a total of three attempts before you are locked out.
The final assessment is 30 questions long and you need to score at least 70% to pass. There is no time limit, so don't fret - you'll make it through to the end! If you fail, you can just retake the final exam over and over again until you pass. You do not have to retake the course!
