Sign up online or in-app for our Texas DPS-authorized course available to students ages 14-17. Move through the 32-hour course at your pace, whenever and wherever you want! After you finish, you can take the official state learner permit exam in our app and skip this step at the DPS! After you ace the texas teen driving course, we'll send you a Certificate of Completion. Take this, along with your required proofs of identification, to your closest Texas DPS. There, you'll take an eye exam and pick up your learner permit. It's time to start driving!
Ready to get behind-the-wheel? The state of Texas requires that you complete 14 hours of training at a drivers school and 30 hours of driving practice with a licensed adult over age 21. With aceable, you have the option to choose your own driving instructor! You'll also need to complete the free ITTD program (Impact Texas Teen Drivers program) on the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation website.
