5 Easy Steps to Help Your Teen Get Their Nevada Driver's License

1. Purchase your teen's course

2. Pass the Permit Test

Have your teen prepare for the Nevada DMV Online Written Test (permit test) by downloading and studying the driver handbook. (While your teen doesn’t have to complete our course before they can take the test, it would certainly help them feel better prepared.)

3. Get your teen's permit

After your teen passes the Online Written Test, schedule an appointment with the DMV so they can bring in the required documents and get their driver’s permit.

4. Your teen will complete their course and driving hours

During the six months after getting their permit, have your teen complete the Aceable Nevada Drivers Ed course and log 50 hours of behind-the-wheel driving practice, 10 of which must be completed at night.

5. Get your teen's license!

Return to the Nevada DMV with your teen (and all their required documentation) so that they can take the driving test and get their license.
